Welcome to Jafel, your immersive AI-powered jewelry pattern creation studio where every random inspiration can turn into wearable art in seconds. This privacy policy is built to be fully transparent about how we handle every piece of data you share with us while you design your one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces – no confusing legalese, no hidden clauses, just clear, straightforward explanations of what happens to your creations, your personal uploads, and your account information.

We prioritize your creative freedom and personal privacy equally, so every choice we make around data handling is designed to protect your unique ideas and cherished personal content while we help you bring your jewelry visions to life.

We only collect data that is necessary to help you generate, preview, and save your custom jewelry designs, split into the following categories tailored to our service features:

• Creative Input Data: This includes all content you provide to generate custom patterns: text descriptions of your ideal design (whether it's a dreamy sunset beach, vintage floral print, cosmic starry sky, or any other idea you type in), any files you upload (photos of your pet, travel scenery, meaningful handwritten notes, or other cherished mementos), and adjustments you make to generated patterns (resizing, color tweaks, or pattern modification inputs).
• 3D Preview Interaction Data: We collect anonymized, non-identifiable data about how you interact with our hyper-realistic 3D previews: how you zoom to check texture details, rotate models to view all angles, and adjust lighting to test designs in different scenarios. This data is only used to optimize our 3D rendering performance and make the preview experience more intuitive for all users, and is never linked to your personal account or individual designs.
• Account & Collection Data: If you choose to save your designs to your personal collection, we collect the information you choose to associate with your account (such as a display name, email address, and profile details) plus the full files of your saved designs, so you can browse, revisit, and edit your creations whenever you want across devices.
• General Usage Data: We collect basic, anonymized data about how you use Jafel (such as how many designs you generate, what design categories you prefer, and app performance metrics) to fix bugs, improve our AI generation quality, and add new features that fit user needs. This data never includes your personal creative content or identifiable account details.

Every use of your data is directly tied to providing and improving your Jafel design experience, with no unrelated uses allowed:

• Process your creative inputs (text prompts, uploaded files, pattern adjustments) to generate the custom seamless, high-quality jewelry patterns you request, and render those patterns on our 3D jewelry models for your preview.
• Store your saved designs to your personal collection, sync your content across your devices, and let you access and edit your creations whenever you want.
• Use anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve our AI generation accuracy, expand the range of design styles our AI can produce, and optimize 3D preview speed and realism.
• Send you essential service updates (such as notification of policy changes, or alerts about features related to your saved designs) if you have provided contact information. We will never send you unsolicited marketing messages unless you explicitly opt in to receive them.

Unlike many AI creative tools, we do not claim any ownership rights over the designs you generate with Jafel. You retain full, exclusive copyright and intellectual property rights to every custom design you create using our service, for both personal and commercial use.

We only hold a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use your designs solely for the purpose of providing Jafel services to you: for example, storing your designs in your personal collection, syncing them to your devices, or rendering 3D previews for your review. We will never use your designs for promotional purposes, sell them to third parties, or reproduce them for any use outside of servicing your account, without your explicit written permission.

If you choose to share your designs publicly via our in-app sharing features, you retain full ownership of the content, and you control how it is shared.

Our core AI model is trained on publicly available, licensed creative content and anonymized, non-identifiable design contributions from users who have explicitly opted in to our community improvement program.

If you do choose to opt in to contribute to AI training, only anonymized, stripped-down design elements (no full uploaded photos, no personal prompts with identifying details, no complete finished designs linked to your account) will be added to our training dataset. You can opt out of the program at any time via your privacy settings, and any elements you previously contributed will be removed from our training dataset within 30 days of your opt-out request.

We never sell your personal data, your creative inputs, or your custom designs to any third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other commercial purposes. The only scenarios where we may share limited data are as follows:

• When you intentionally share your design publicly via our in-app share tools: only the specific design content you choose to share will be visible to others, per the sharing settings you select.
• With trusted, vetted service providers who help us operate the Jafel service (such as encrypted cloud hosting providers who store your saved content, or payment processors if you choose to order a physical production of your custom jewelry). All of these providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements, are not permitted to access your personal creative content unless necessary to deliver their service, and cannot use your data for any purpose unrelated to supporting Jafel.
• When required to do so by applicable legal obligations, in which case we will only share the minimum amount of data necessary, and we will notify you of any such request where legally permitted to do so.

You have full, direct control over all of your data, with no complicated processes or support tickets required for most requests:

• Delete individual uploaded files, individual saved designs, or your entire design collection at any time directly from your account settings. When you delete content, all copies are permanently erased from our servers within 72 hours, with no backups retained unless you have explicitly opted in to our optional personal cloud backup service.
• Export all of your data (saved design files, uploaded content, and account information) in an open, usable format with a single click in your privacy settings.
• Opt out of all non-essential data collection (including anonymized usage data collection and AI training contribution) at any time via your privacy settings, with immediate effect.
• Revoke any permissions you have previously granted to Jafel (such as access to your device photo library) directly through your device settings or your Jafel account settings.
• Request correction of any inaccurate account information associated with your profile at any time.

We take extensive measures to protect your personal data and creative content from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse:

• All uploaded files and saved design files are stored with end-to-end encryption, both in transit and at rest.
• Jafel employees do not have default access to your personal creative content. The only scenario where a member of our team may access your content is if you submit a support request requiring assistance with your designs, in which case only a dedicated security-approved support specialist may access the specific content needed to resolve your request, with all access logged and audited.
• We conduct regular security audits and update our security protocols on an ongoing basis to address any potential vulnerabilities.

While we take all reasonable steps to protect your data, no digital security system is completely infallible. In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of discovering the breach, and provide full details of the incident and steps you can take to protect your content.

We may update this privacy policy occasionally as we add new features to Jafel or adjust our service operations. If we make any material changes to how we handle your data, we will notify you via in-app notification and email (if you have provided contact information) at least 30 days before the updated policy takes effect.

If you do not agree to the updated policy terms, you can export all of your data and close your account at any time before the new policy goes into effect. Your continued use of Jafel after the updated policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
